Survey of CRP Members: 1st Report Of Results…

Yesterday mid-day I sent an email out to fellow California Republican Party Central Committee Members, inquiring if they would like to see the GOP candidates for Governor, Attorney General, and U.S. Senate invited to debate at next month’s State GOP Convention in Santa Clara.

You can see the e-mail that I sent out here.

In that e-mail, I said that I would keep folks up to speed on the results of my informal survey periodically.  So below is the first update.

NUMBER OF CRP MEMBERS RESPONDING SO FAR: 211 (Roughly 15% Of All Members)
THOSE WHO WANT INVITES TO GO OUT: 198
THOSE WHO DO NOT WANT INVITES TO GO OUT: 13

Pretty overwhelming numbers in support of extending invitations.
We’ll keep updating the tally as we hear from more people — it’s a holiday weekend so I would imagine many people aren’t checking their email as frequently.

I should add, for context, that this Tuesday the CRP Board of Directors, of which I am a member, will vote on whether to invite the candidates to debate at the convention.

If you are a CRP member and you didn’t yet vote (if you are blocking e-mails from Constant Contact, you may not have gotten my note), feel free to let me know here.  I’m checking off each member as they vote.
