This just in from longtime FR friend and Assemblyman Joel Anderson…
Republicans Act to Increase Jobs – Will Democrats?
By Assemblyman Joel Anderson
This week, the California State Assembly will have a chance to keep more jobs in California. Will the Legislature stand with you and me, or on the side of Arizona, Nevada, and Texas who are luring our entrepreneurs and employees across state lines?
I introduced Assembly Bill 2278 to keep high technology business in California. High-paying jobs benefit our state and the skilled workers who do them keep California on the forefront of scientific research and development. My bill increases the tax credit for the high-tech work that California is so famous for. This is just one tool that we can use to restore a little a shine to our state’s business climate.
Heaping burdensome costs and mandates on those who dare to dream in California, the liberal majority in Sacramento just doesn’t seem to get it. Instead of killing the golden goose, I believe we should value the brilliant minds that pioneer new solutions to our biotechnology, security, medical, and other challenges. These innovative industries and institutions – many of them right in our own backyard – provide a vital economic boost to our state’s bottom line. But because of politicians’ perpetual over-spending, we are in a position where we literally can’t afford to lose even one more company to another state. Will we do what it takes to retain these valuable jobs in this down economy and lead in the fight for investment in California?
Now is the time to make job-creation a priority, and affirm our Golden State as a location of choice. By passing this jobs credit bill, AB 2278, we will offer relief to California businesses and take decisive action to regain California’s economic competitiveness for the future.
Today, Assembly Bill 2278 will have a chance at an up or down vote. Please send your quick note in support of AB 2278 to me at Assemblymember.Anderson@asm.ca.gov or fax to 916-319-2177. Thank you for standing with me for California jobs!

Anyone thinks a politican creates jobs is qualified for a straight ticket to assisted living.
Stop the dependency racket….we thought Republicans instructed people to think, do and create for themselves….guess we are wrong…

Assemblyman Anderson knows, however, that politicians CAN destroy jobs.
His bill is designed to stop that
process, and to keep good paying jobs in California.
It would be nice if the young men and women picking up their college degrees next month could actually live and WORK in their native state.
Maybe they can if more bills like
this one by Joel Anderson become law.
