The Biggest Load of Bull in the History of the World

For years in the legislature now in private practice I’ve been disgusted by the legislative rankings of the "Small Business Association". Every year this organization give the most anti-small business Democrats in the legislature high rankings for their great pro-small business votes. So what popped over my email again today? This year’s asinine list.

It should be an embarrassment for any reasonable business or business organization to be affiliated with this group. Take a minute and visit the "Small Business Association" website, and you’ll recognize some of their corporate donors and other affiliations, who may or may not recognize what they are supporting.

Give them a call and ask them why they possible lend their name and/or money to a group that rewards liberal Democrats, and provides them cover. As for Republican legislators and their staffs, I’d do what most of the San Diegans have already done – refuse to participate in their yearly award ceremony where they hand out kudos to the same liberals who are crushing small businesses.

This kind of orgaqnization will help to keep smal business just that, small. As in small potatoes.
One would think that in this war between overgrown, over spending and over regulating Leftists and the private sector, that business groups would form to an effective player in winning the war.

Where is Spatacus when we need him?

Let’s compare some small business vote scores from the National Federation
of Independent Business’ California chapter (NFIB) in their most recent
    study of the legislature.

The numbers shown are the percentage of “pro small business” votes cast
in a study of the 16 most important California measures.

    Karen Bass……………13%
    Mike Feuer…………….13%
    Cath. Galgiani………….44%
    Fiona Ma……………….13%
    Mary Salas…………….13%
    Sandre Swanson………13%

Yet all 6 of these SAME legislators received the highest possible rating from
the CSBA, a category they call, ‘summa cum laude’.

Is it any wonder Mr. Dichiara is skeptical of the CSBA results?

The LOWEST possible positive score from CSBA is “cum laude”. Here
are the NFIB-California scores for some of those same legislators:

    Sam Blakeslee………..100%
    Tom Harman……………100%
    Mark Wyland…………..100%

So, who are you going to believe, NFIB or CSBA?

I love this post simply based on the hyperbole in the title – but the text really does follow through.
