I know. My first reaction was of course some of the Governor’s consultants ripped him off. They gave horrible advice and got paid very well for it. We can all name names.
This is different. LA Weekly is carrying a story that the Governor’s consultants defrauded his campaign using kickbacks and commissions. Apparently it was looked into and nothing was found.
Really?
Read the article here. I do wan’t to point out to all those that send emails to me correcting spelling errors. I’m not responsible for linked articles.

Thanks, Mike. The story is actually somewhat different than that. Namely, that after ignoring months of rumors that Arnold was being taken to the cleaners, an anonymous letter to the governor alleging serious financial improprieties caused Arnold and Maria to have the governor’s lawyer take the unprecedented step in this operation of questioning the political consultants about said alleged improprieties. And that, although his lawyer says the allegations were unfounded, the house cleaning began not long after, with a well-informed source viewing the letter as an important catalyst.
As for the misspelling of November, for god’s sake, who knows?! Perhaps copy editing isn’t all it’s cracked up to be … :)
It’s spelled right on my blog: http://www.newwestnotes.com/
