Sen. Tony Mendoza Resigns While Senate President Presides Over Kangaroo Court

The Capitol cesspool saga adds another chapter in the sexual harassment orgy going on under the dome.

Senate President pro Tem Kevin de Leon lectured Senate colleagues on the Senate floor Thursday about how he would not tolerate the abuse of power in the Senate, during the on-again, off-again session to determine the fate of Sen. Tony Mendoza amid sexual harassment investigations.“We will not tolerate harassment, nor sweep it under the rug,” de Leon said (as I spit my coffee). Earlier in the week, de Leon threatened to expel Mendoza, but many assumed it was an empty threat.

Let’s Make Banks Gun Free Zones

On the radio today, I heard the head of the National Education Association insist that the union did not want “any guns on school grounds,” and that they would resist any attempts to arm teachers. Schools, this union official said, should be “gun free.” The left, in the follow up to the Florida school shooting, has been proposing all sorts of various bans on guns, and places where those guns can be loaded, used, or carried. Listening to the anti-gun advocates this last week, I had an epiphany…Guns don’t deter violent offenders, they encourage them. How could I not see that before? Removing guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens is the only way to stop violent offenders from getting guns, and shooting people with them. It is so self-evident as to be indisputable. How could I contest that fact?

It only makes sense. If law abiding citizens came to a theater or a school or a park or…pick a place without a gun, violent or crazy people would know this, and not go there and shoot them. Why would crazy or violent people want to shoot unarmed people? It is human nature to want a fair fight. Bad guys won’t get their… Read More

#FauxFeminists in CA Legislative Women’s Caucus Silent On’ Sexual Abuse Charges

With the ongoing investigations into charges of sexual harassment and abuse by lawmakers inside the California State Capitol, there is a deafening silence coming from the Legislature’s Women’s Caucus. Are all of the feminist lawmakers MIA? Why are they silent on the sexual harassment charges against their colleagues? Don’t they care about the victims? The law dictates they must protect the victims, not the perpetrators. But that’s not how the Capitol investigations are being conducted in Sacramento.

Let’s get the skunk on the table: If Senator Tony Mendoza, or Senator Bob Hertzberg, or Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia were Republicans, they would have been expelled by their colleagues on January 3rd. And the Legislative Women’s Caucus would have been righteously outraged; Democrat Sen. Hannah Beth Jackson would have demanded Republican heads on a silver platter; Democrat Sen. Connie Leyva would have demanded more than suspensions; And where is the usually righteously indignant Democrat Sen. Holly Mitchell and her “… Read More

State Sponsored Euthanasia… We Have Arrived at the Slippery Slope

First, they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. Pastor Martin Niemöller – January 1946

According to Merriam-Webster dictionary euthanasia, is a word that comes to us from the Greek term meaning “easy death.” It’s not however, a word widely used by advocates of the “Death with Dignity” movement. They like to use more soothing words in the titles of their organizations like Compassion & Choices, Final Exit Network, Dignity in Dying, Dignitas, and Exit to name a few.

On the way to making society comfortable with the concept of “Death with Dignity”, there are reasons supporters avoid incorporating the term “euthanasia” in their quest for legalization. Foremost would be the inclusion of the words “…the act or practice of killing…” in the dictionary definition.… Read More

State Bar investigated grade changing at online law school run by Orange County school board official

An online law school with ties to Orange County school board trustee David L. Boyd was criticized by the State Bar for changing the grades of failing students so that they would be eligible to take the nation’s toughest bar exam while continuing to receive federal student aid.

Students with failing grades are ineligible to take the exam and also cannot receive federal student loans. Since 2008, Taft students have received more than $14 million in tax funded student loans, according to the US Department of Education.

The 2016 investigation ended with no action required, though a school official said it had introduced review programs to help students prepare for the required First Year Law Student’s Exam (also known as the Baby Bar) and the General Bar. The official also told the state investigator that students who failed a class in year two of the program would in the future be placed… Read More

Is CA Senate Rigging Report In Harassment Probe of Sen. Tony Mendoza?

Senior Senate staff say Sen. President Pro Tem Kevin DeLeon still actively helping former roommate Mendoza keep his paycheck

In an exclusive interview to the Flash Report, a California State Senate senior staffer revealed a behind-the-scenes plot to save, or at least continue the Senate paycheck of Democrat Senator Tony Mendoza (Artesia), who in multiple media reports and news articles is alleged to be a serial sexual harasser of women in his own Senate office.

The Senate staffer, who has worked several years in the Legislature under multiple leaders, requested anonymity for fear of workplace reprisals.

Additionally, it was reported Thursday that Sen. Mendoza and a constituent filed a lawsuit against the California… Read More

Debts & Deficits Putting Our Future At Risk

A lot of ink is being spilled talking about the US debt – which has surpassed $20 Trillion. But the debt problem isn’t just national.

California’s debt has climbed to over $425 Billion – and if you include local unfunded pension & debt liability, we face a $1.3 Trillion debt – over half of the entire GDP of the state. According to USdebtClock.org, California is accumulating $100 Billion more debt every year.

That is more debt than many countries. California’s debt is twice as much as Switzerland, who’s national debt stands at $670 Billion; and about the same as Mexico ($1.4 Trillion) and Australia ($1.3… Read More
