Attached is the final list of Delegates and Alternates on the California Delegation to the Republican National Convention, as released to me by Kathy Tavoularis, Executive Director of the California Delegation.

We’ll try to circle back with some analysis on changes made to the Delegates since the original lists submitted before the primary, and of course all of the Alternates listed are "new news" since no Alternate lists had been previously released.

Almost all of these folks were selected by John McCain, with Mitt Romney winning just a few spots.

For those who are not experienced Excel users, this document is formatted in pages. When you open it, you will be looking at the list of Delegates. There is a tab at the bottom to go to the page with the Alternates.

The LA Times is at it again……attacking a green champion for no good reason!

In their article today, "Governor’s high-flying commute draws flak", they unfairly point out that even though the governor signed AB 32, he doesn’t seem to be living the life that bill mandates on the rest of us.

How dare they. HE BUYS CARBON CREDITS! So how can anyone criticize him!

The LA Times rages:

"Flying the Gulfstream and other jets the governor uses costs as much as $10,000 an hour. Some conservationists say Schwarzenegger is essentially attempting to buy a clean conscience with the carbon offsets, which cost about $43 an hour."

AD 80 on again – off again candidate, Lupe Ramos Watson, is out.

Tomorrow, Gary Jeandron will become the unopposed Republican nominee for Assembly.

Now, for the next three months Gary will be able to fundraise and campaign while the Democrat candidates tear each other apart. And from what I’m hearing, it’s going to be a Democrat Battle Royale.

Since the day he announced Gary has been a juggernaut. He’s a well respected former police chief of Palm Springs, current school board member and even a marriage and family counselor (what a guy).

HIs fundraising is better than all the Democrats combined and his work ethic is second to none.

Jeandron is on a roll – and clearing the Primary is just another sign of his strength.

Capitalism rocks. Exxon Mobil Corp. has been blasted by everyone from "progressives" to enviros to anyone in between for generating record-level profits as oil prices climb. The Wall Street Journal reports today that the company is now poised to invest record-levels (taking "capital spending to $25-30 billion per year") into "aggressively increasing exploration in politically stable countries not usually thought to be energy rich." That says to me it won’t be cheap, but will likely help lessen our dependence on Middle East and South American oil. Sounds like good work to me.
