I also met Chuck 20 years ago walking precincts for Chris Cox in his first primary in 1988. He’d make an excellent choice for the Conservative movement.

What we need in a senate candidate for California, is someone who will make the conservative case and lay the groundwork for future generations.
It’ll take a lot of work to turn California from the deep blue that it is…and Chuck DeVore will need all our help to make things better.

I wish the best for Chuck Devore. I have worked with him in the past and to say he is a strong principled represetative would be an understatement.
The only strategy suggestion I may have as a single voter is to not spend too much time running against Boxer at this point.
First we have a primary.
Chuck Devore could run circles around the Gov. He has a solid understanding of econimics and the impact of government on our lives.
But he is not running against the Gov. He may be running against Meg Whitman, or D. Ackerman, or someon known statewide in Republican circles such as Tom Del Beccaro (and no I have not heard of any of them running, it is only an example).
Get the message out why he is the best conservative who can keep his principles while winning over Independants and Dems. I think that is what many are looking for.
