This morning the Presidential Library of former President George W. Bush was opened in Dallas, Texas. Much can be read online about the event, and you can re-watch the 
ceremony on C-SPAN among
other sites. I thought I would throw up two photos for your perusal. The first is one of the current and former living Presidents, that is a testament to our democratic republic. The second was just emailed into me by former State Assemblyman Jim Silva who was at the event, showing how things looked from his vantage point (California GOP Chairman Jim Brulte and a large contingent are on hand for the festivities).
For those interested, despite my guess that he would only use the word once, President Bush managed to say “awesome” twice during his remarks. A third “awesome” was heard after the ceremony, near the mic, but we won’t count that one.
