Proving that the conservative youth movement is alive and well, the USC College Republicans hosted conservative commentator Ann Coulter yesterday evening in a packed, standing room-only event at the USC campus. The USC College Republicans, led by their Chairwoman Cheyenne Steel (Yes, thatʼs Steel Version 3.0), deserve credit for packing the room with over 300 people, accommodating an overflow seating with another 150 people, and preventing the left wing protestors from hijacking the event.
College Republicans chapters across California are hosting speakers and events this week as a part of David Horowtizʼs Islamofascism Week. Itʼs events like these that recruit Republican volunteers, energize conservatives on campus, and sharpen the political skills of future operatives. No doubt, we will be seeing more from USCʼs bright young stars like Cheyenne Steel, Kip Payne and Ben Myers for years to come.
Coulter spoke for about an hour, followed by Q&A, and then a lengthy book signing. Perhaps Coulterʼs most interesting comments of the evening came in response to a question about the Republican presidential field. In what may be a preview of future attacks on Sen. Fred Thompsonʼs conservative record, Coulter pulled no punches in attacking Thompsonʼs support of Bill Clinton during impeachment. Coulter scored points with the So. Cal crowd by praising hometown hero Congressman Jim Roganʼs principled sacrifice during impeachment and called Thompsonʼs record especially shameful in comparison.

It was thrilling to make my first visit at the USC Campus last night, which was worth the drive from Diamond Bar to hear what Ann Coulter has to say.
Yes, Coulter hits it on the head about Thompson’s credentials as a conservative, but has a tendency to align himself with McCain and others.
We need to fight like hell on the War on Terror and who cares what the other side thinks. It is about saving America from a genocide from the radicals that live and breathe on God’s green planet.
USC is a beautiful campus, though I still root for UCLA during football and basketball games…Sorry folks…(Smiles).
