Two California Republican Congressional Representative voted against protecting marriage. A total of 27 Republican voted no while 34 Dems voted the right way. LA County based Congressman David Dreier and Congressman Mary Bono voted with Barney Frank, Maxine Waters and others that want to undermine traditional marriage in the states. As we can see courts have invalidated several marriage laws and the Supreme Court can do the same thing. I agree with critics that we shouldn’t have to pass these types of amendments. There right we shouldn’t have too, unfortunately activist liberal judges make it a necessity. To find out what other liberals Dreier and Bono voted with click here. Good news is that Newest Congressman Brian Bilbray voted yes on the amendment.

If our present day culture, can consider same sex marriage as beneficial to society ,it follows logically that the original rationale for allowing government involvement in the sacrament of marriage between a man and a woman no longer is valid …..therefore what justifies governments involvement in any marriage???
That it’s a cash cow, can’t really be all thats needed ??? —–well—-at least we can start to get the cards on the table, for all to see what we are really dealing with.

Dreier voted for his own interest on this one and not what his constituents wanted. I’m shocked, NOT.

Mike:
More good news, Brian Bilbray helped Duncan Hunter win a 349-73 House
vote today to save San Diego’s historic Mt. Soledad Cross… the goal is to
defeat an atheist drive to evict the 29′ foot cross by transferring it into the
Federal Park system.
A local Federal Judge has tried for 15 years to topple the monument, but
Calfornia’s Anthony Kennedy stayed that order pending a full review by the
Supremes.
