It’s quickly becoming clear that Jerry Brown is seriously not ready for prime-time. Just since the primary, we have two examples — one last week with his spontaneous comment to a reporter (while jogging) comparing Meg Whitman to Joseph Goebels, Adolph Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda (to this Jewish blogger, that reads: massive Holocaust spin-master — I have noticed that Brown has not elaborated on what exactly it is that Whitman is spinning that is on par with what Goebbels was doing).
But today we have not ready for prime-time comment number two, again in a question from a reporter about government spending… At an event in the Silcon Valley, Brown responded to a question, and I quote: “That goes to the whole issue. How do you do things without the money? It’s very difficult but I have a plan. I’ll tell you after the election.”
I have a plan and I’ll tell you after you elect me?
Check out th video (courtesy of Team Whitman)…
Who says that? Is it his "secret plan" that only he knows about?
Of course Whitman campaign press secretary Sarah Pompei had comment…
“Governor Brown’s outright refusal to provide any specifics to voters continued today. In a revealing moment at a Silicon Valley event this morning, Governor Jerry Brown openly mocked the idea of sharing specifics with voters about how he would address government spending until after Election Day. This election and this issue are far too important for Governor Brown to continue to dodge questions, avoid specifics, and shirk responsibility. Simply put: California voters deserve more.”

Here’s my comment:
"It is my hope that Jerry Brown will continue to talk candidly to reporters — he is doing a great job of painting a picture of some who should be thinking more about retiring from public office, not seeking the most important elected position in the state.
