Two words: Richard Pombo.
As the PPIC poll recently pointed out, there’s solid and strong support for clean water and clean air among Californians.
As for your ad (pay for play?) … the pumps have been open for quite some time. Water is flowing. Now all we do is use it efficiently. A canal or dam is 10-15 years away. (Oh, and I guess you expect taxpayers to pay for those things, huh?)
And just a friendly reminder that the GOP has held the Governorship for 28 of the past 40 years. So when you complain about “big government,” just look who has been in charge.
