If the state goes further down the toilet maybe we might need to pass all this as a ballot measure since the state legislature is a wholly own subsidiary of the state employee labor unions.
To second Matt’s thought, there is no way the legislature passes this, so action needs to be taken to move these proposals as a package of ballot initiatives.
Bureaucracy Reduction & Accountability must also take a strong look at work rules and any non-profits that get state funding.
The Job Creation & Retention Act must also contain regulatory reform, especially experimental, and tort reform. Lower taxes and contracting out won’t do it alone.
More local control of Education is not a good idea if you live in the Peoples’s Republic San Francisco.
Oh Great! Another boondoggle like medicare part D – Rape the country by the fat cats. I Don’t think so!
We have had enough of you unregulated derivative schemes….so you want to contract out what? Education? Health care?
Housing subsidies? Foodstamps? Job assistance? SCHIP [great – sell the little kids!]Home services for seniors? or maybe the prisons? EH?
I am seriously considering changing my registration guys! You rightwingers are just to radical for this old republican.
