By Jessica Austin

To say that San Bernardino County is a hotbed of controversy for Republicans is perhaps the biggest understatement of the year. However, as of Thursday night, it will no longer be applicable to the San Bernardino County Republican Party.

    am I seeing double?

  2. aabrahms@proskauer.com Says:

Assemblyman Adams did the right thing by removing his taint from the County Party; now he should resign his Assembly seat and save us the effort of a recall!

  3. lbrtylvr@yahoo.com Says:

It was so good, it was worth saying twice!

  4. cavalawilliam@netscape.net Says:

    But can she type?

  5. l_jessup@yahoo.com Says:

Gah. Please keep infighting. It’s so amusing.

  6. sanbernardino@redcounty.com Says:

    I think I can type…

  7. anthony@porrello.com Says:

The only infighting I have seen between Committee members are between those who operate based on principals and others who believe that the end justifies the means.

    Ms. Austin:

Thank you for this excellent report from San Bernardino county.

Please accept Mr. Cavala’s sexist remark above as an
admission that he could not think of anything else to say.

    Keep up the Good Work!

The Democrats along with 6 Republicans, which includes Anthony Adams, voted for a “balanced” budget. Two weeks later it is $8 billion out of “balance”. What happened in those 2 weeks? Was there a catastrophic event that suddenly caused an $8 billion economic slowdown? Was there a natural disaster that necessitate a huge $8 billion government expenditure? I cannot recall any event such as that– can you?

The only logical conclusion is that when Anthony Adams, along with his 5 Republican friends and all the Democrats, voted for a “balanced” budget they were either incompetent or ignorant… or both. There can be no other logical conclusion.

This country is in trouble— we have incompetent and ignorant people in Washington and in Sacramento… Anthony Adams is simply one of those people. We are going to lose our country unless we start throwing these bums out, and electing competent people… not people who vote for a “balanced” budget and 2 weeks later find it has an $8 billion hole.

Why did all of our Republican Assembly Members sign on to endorse Anthony Adam’s re-election – right after his vote on the budget to increase our taxes?
