Did you hear the shocking tale about a San Francisco illegal alien/gang banger who shot a father and his two sons in cold blood last month?
You probably have since national media outlets like Time and Fox News have covered the story.
If you haven’t, the story goes like this: Witnesses say Edwin Ramos, 21, was perturbed that his car was temporarily blocked by 48-year-old Tony Bologna’s car. So Ramos opened fire on Bologna and his sons Micheal, 20, and Matthew, 16, killing all three.
This heinous crime could have been prevented. Ramos, an El Salvador citizen and a member of the violent MS-13 gang, should have been sent to state prison and then deported a long time ago given his record of criminal activity in San Francisco and his illegal alien status. But because of systematic problems within California’s criminal justice system, Ramos was freed to roam the streets of San Francisco.
Here’s a look at his criminal activities prior to the vicious slaying of the Bologna family:
In 2003, Ramos, 17 at the time, beat and kicked a passenger on a San Francisco city bus. Ramos was briefly incarcerated as a juvenile for the gang assault, which was recorded on videotape.
Four days after his release in 2004, Ramos and two companions attempted to rob a pregnant woman. Ramos, who was again tried as a juvenile, was not deported.
In March, Ramos was stopped for driving a car without a license plate. A passenger identified as a fellow MS-13 gang member attempted to discard a gun, which was recovered by police. The gun was later determined to have been used in a double homicide. Still, believe it or not, Ramos was again not charged or held for deportation.
Proposition 6, also know as the Safe Neighborhoods Act, would help put an end to the systematic problems plaguing the way California handles violent gang offenses committed by juvenile and illegal aliens.
Under Prop 6, a 17-year-old involved in a gang assault, like the attack committed by Edwin Ramos, could be charged as an adult. In addition, if a perpetrator is an illegal immigrant, Proposition 6 would require that he be held without bail and his status reported to U.S. Customs Enforcement (ICE).

San Francisco officials think that they are above the law and only obey the ones they like. What makes anything they will obey a state law?
