I’ll post more on this later, as I’m off to a city council meeting (hey, what do you want for free….we’re volunteer bloggers, not reporters….although sometimes were better than some reporters).
But I did want to get some photos up of Arnold’s campaign stop in lil’ old La Mesa’s Harry Griffin Park this morning. More on this "Town Hall in the Park" later.
Below are photos of La Mesa Mayor Art Madrid, San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders, and the Gov engaging the crowd……

Barry,
You didn’t mention anything about the other GOP nominees who were on the bus.
They were there right? McClintock and Poochigian and Strickland and Poizner…aren’t they traveling with the Governor?
They were at least invited to go right and they all had scheduling conflicts?

I’m afraid the Boys on the Bus is really just the Boy.

What say you all about the press coverage of the La Mesa stop for the Governor?
I am of the opinion that short of being pelted with vegetables, I think even reports of tough crowds help the governor.
I think the average Californian respects a candidate that is willing to face the heat. I think that the people by and large, want to like the governor and thus, tough events can lead to putting him in a sympathetic light.
Obviously, the risk is that he pulls a Busby and says something catastrophically stupid…but, I don’t think he will.
Lets keep him on and off the bus…and out of Sacramento.
