Okay, this has nothing to do with State politics, but its a slow newsday, and I feel some pity towards the leftists out there.  So here goes.

Advice for Liberals
 
Liberals, I understand your plight. You are out of power in America, and cannot believe it.  Your intellectual superiority and moral supremacy make you crazy when you compare yourselves with Neanderthal Republicans.  With the GOP making a mess of federal finances and ignoring the crisis on our Southern Border, can you capitalize  electorally in 2006 and 2008?  I have some advice that might help you.  Take heed.
 
Stop it with all the hate, rage and anger.  Remember, "Hate is not a Family Value".
 
If you do persist in hating, try to hate Al Quaida as much as you hate President Bush.
 
Advocate a balanced federal budget and find a program or two that could be cut.  You’ll get Republican votes if you do that.  Also, the public doesn’t like taxes that much you might want to soft pedal on that.
 
Adopt a pro – immigrant, anti –  illegal immigrant stance.  This is sensible and to the right of the GOP, which is completely captive to business and agriculture on this issue.
 
Teach Hillary to smile and to speak without being shrill.
 
Get Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean off the TV.  They are clownish figures at best.  Barack Obama would be much better.
 
Try really hard to win political debates without resorting to insult within the first two minutes.  "Bush is a Nazi" not only isn’t true, but actually hurts your cause.
 
Encourage the NAACP to celebrate the achievements of conservative blacks. 
 
Hold as many vigils for victims of crime as you do for cop killers and death row inmates.
 
Quit lying about spending "cuts".  When the GOP took the Congress in 1994 the federal budget was $1.2 trillion.  Today is $2.77 trillion.  Some revolution.  Nothing has been cut and most people that can add know it.
 
Admit that Social Security and Medicare are bankrupt.  Defending Ponzi schemes should be left to the corrupt.
 
World War Three started September 11, 2001 because your beloved former President paid no attention to terrorism.  If you want the  public to trust you with Homeland Security, be at least as outraged about Islamic murderers as you are about wiretapping. 
 
The gay marriage thing isn’t working – give it a rest. 
 
You’ve become the movement of death – with abortion and euthanasia being your signature issues.  I think death might not be a great issue to run on.
 
Finally, have some more kids.  Conservatives are winning the battle here, and guess how we are raising our children?
